Rebecca brings a rare depth of professional experience and genuine heart to her role as a Trainer and Assessor at Hader Institute of Education. With a career spanning vocational education, counselling, career development, and organisational leadership, she understands what it truly takes to support people through learning and through life.
As Managing Director of B&I Training, Rebecca has delivered training and assessment across language, literacy and numeracy, business, and human resource management for providers including Swinburne University and TAFE. She also managed Career Life College, her own Registered Training Organisation, guiding it through a full teach-out phase to complete compliance and a successful sale. Her ability to hold both the operational and human dimensions of education together speaks directly to the kind of trainer she is.
Alongside her extensive VET background, Rebecca has built a meaningful counselling practice, facilitating trauma support groups covering grief and loss, domestic violence, sexual assault, and suicide bereavement. She volunteers with Lifeline as a crisis support worker and is currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Counselling with a trauma specialisation at the University of Tasmania. Everything she does is anchored in a deep and genuine commitment to people.
Now facilitating the CHC51015 Diploma of Counselling, Rebecca brings learners training that is grounded in real practice, shaped by lived professional experience, and delivered with warmth. Her approach is structured and encouraging, giving each learner the skills and confidence to support others through some of life's most challenging moments.
